The Heart Behind the Mission
Our founder and president, Oanh, shares the story and vision behind the Life Essentials Study Bible translation project and why Mission for Vietnam exists.
Why Your Support Matters
Vietnam is home to more than 100 million people, many with little access to God’s Word. Our leadership team grew up in this reality, and today they are investing in the next generation of leaders by developing resources, strengthening churches, and advancing the LESB Bible translation project. Your partnership helps meet this urgent need.
The Life Essentials Study Bible Translation Project
One of our primary initiatives is the LESB Bible translation project — creating a faithful, accessible Vietnamese translation of Scripture. This translation is becoming the foundation for discipleship, evangelism, and church growth across the country. By giving today, you help accelerate this work and put God’s Word into the hands of those who need it most.
Goals
Provide a complete Vietnamese LESB for distribution, combining written principles and video teachings to empower leaders, with a goal of raising $200,000.
Timeline
Printing of the Vietnamese LESB is set for 1Q2026, with New Testament videos due by 3Q2025 and Old Testament videos planned for 2026. Full distribution in 2027.
Progress
Translation of written principles is complete, with over 1,700 sample books distributed. New Testament video voiceovers are underway.
Samples
The LESB sample book includes the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, already being used in leadership training programs.
