About Us
Who we are and why we exist — equipping Vietnamese leaders and churches with God’s Word for lasting impact.
Our Mission Is Rooted in Vietnam
We believe God’s Word is for everyone. As Vietnamese believers, our leadership team has lived the reality of following Christ with limited access to resources. Today, we are equipping pastors, strengthening churches, and developing the tools needed to see the Gospel spread across Vietnam.
Mission & Vision
Mission & Vision
Our Mission Statement
Empower people to: Know Jesus deeply, Grow in Bible understanding, Go develop disciples throughout Vietnam.
Our Vision
To see thriving communities transformed by the power of God’s Word, where every believer has access to the resources they need to grow and disciple others.
Our Story
Our team’s story is personal. As Vietnamese believers, we remember what it was like to follow Christ without access to strong discipleship materials, training, or full Bibles. That reality shaped us — and now it fuels our work. By returning to Vietnam with the very resources and training we once lacked, we are investing in the next generation of leaders who will multiply the Gospel in their own communities.
The Missionary
2005
In 2005, the Plano Baptist Church, alongside numerous local pastors throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, united in prayerful support and commissioned a Missionary to embark on a transformative journey. His mission? To share the Gospel with Vietnamese people in Malaysia.
Upon his arrival, the Missionary forged a powerful partnership with the local Chinese church, dedicated to reaching out to the Vietnamese community. Together, they established vibrant Worship and Bible study groups, fostering spiritual growth and community.
Over the years, the labor of love bore remarkable fruit. Thousands found solace and salvation in Christ, while a significant number of young workers embraced a higher calling, dedicating their lives to full-time service in God’s name. This journey continues to be a testament to the boundless impact of faith, unity, and unwavering dedication.

God's Calling
2010
Oanh Troung Le visited Malaysia, where she witnessed the transformative work of God and felt an immediate calling to take action. From this experience, a vision emerged.
In the subsequent years, various programs were developed to offer both spiritual and tangible resources. A future objective is to further strengthen and expand these initiatives.
From Vision to Mission
2014
Oanh felt led to start a non-profit organization that would focus on leading people to Jesus, teaching the Bible, and developing leaders to plant churches in Vietnam. This resulted in the creation of Mục Vụ Việt Nam (Mission For Vietnam).

Life Essentials Study Bible
2019
In October 2019, Oanh obtained permission from the globally recognized pastor and author Gene Getz to bring her vision to life: translating the 1,500 written Life Essentials Study Bible (LESB) principles and commentaries, as well as adapting the 1,500 educational videos with translation, subtitling, and voiceover into Vietnamese.
Subsequently, Bible Society Vietnam endorsed the project, providing wholehearted support for the partnership. This collaboration – their new Bible version and our Vietnamese principles – has given rise to what many describe as a “seminary-in-a-box,” catering to local pastors and leaders guiding communities with limited resources.
Progress to Date & Completion
2025
The project has 4 major phases:
1. Translate all 1,500 biblical principles and commentaries. Completed!
2. Print the Vietnamese Life Essentials Study Bible containing the principles and commentaries.
Target 1Q2026
3. Translate New Testament transcript and convert videos to Vietnamese.
Target 3Q2025
4. Translate Old Testament transcript and convert videos to Vietnamese.
Target 2026-2027

Igniting Change Together, Today... and Tomorrow!
2026 & Beyond
Mission for Vietnam stands on the brink of a transformative milestone. The Life Essentials Study Bible project, a cornerstone of our mission, is set to reach completion in 2027. This achievement marks not an end, but a new beginning. With the translation and videos finalized, our focus will shift to widespread distribution across Vietnam and globally, empowering leaders with this "seminary-in-a-box".
Beyond this, Mission for Vietnam will expand its horizons, intensifying efforts in leadership training, church planting, community outreach, and aid programs.
Our vision for the future is clear: to build upon the foundation laid by the LESB project, fostering spiritual growth, and meeting tangible needs in communities throughout Vietnam and beyond.

Our Values
Jesus guides our approach.
We address contemporary issues through the perspective of Jesus, who consistently interacted with empathy, grace, and truth. By following His example, we seek discernment and wisdom to effectively lead and love others.
We prioritize the essential.
Our attention is centered on our shared mission and fundamental biblical principles. We stand united on our shared mission and fundamental biblical principles.
We embrace the power of unity.
We believe that we thrive when we come together, as supportive and caring friendships have a profound impact. Our emphasis is on coming together in groups, working collaboratively in teams, and joining forces with like-minded individuals and organizations who are making positive contributions to our community.
This isn't just about us.
Our programs are thoughtfully crafted to be not only meaningful for us but also inviting to those who have yet to be part of our community.
We're in this together.
Recognizing that we're genuine individuals with complex lives, we are conscious of our own imperfections. We are all on a path of growth and change. Our focus is on celebrating progress rather than perfection, motivating with kindness instead of guilt, and collectively striving to mature in our faith, hope, and love.
We find inspiration in our differences.
Our unity shines most brightly when it mirrors the rich diversity of our world. We are dedicated to the effort it takes to unite individuals from various backgrounds for the greater good, showcasing God's love in unique and unexpected ways.
Our Beliefs
God
We believe in one God, who exists in three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. Jesus, the Son of God, became human to reveal God to us and save the lost world. He is central to the Christian faith.
People
We hold the belief that every person was originally created in God's image for a close relationship with Him. However, this connection was broken due to disobedience, leading to an inability for people to restore it through their own actions.
Salvation
We believe that salvation and forgiveness of sins come through Jesus' death on the cross and His resurrection. This is a free gift from God, given by His grace to all who trust in Jesus as the payment for their sins.
Bible
We believe the Bible is God's inspired Word, written by humans guided by the Holy Spirit, and it holds divine authority.
Church
We believe the church is God's family, made up of those who have faith in Jesus. It's seen in local churches globally and represents Jesus in our time.
Christian Life
We believe that as Christians trust in Jesus, follow the Bible, and yield to the Holy Spirit daily, they become more like Jesus over time. This change is seen in their growing faith, hope, and love.

Expanding the Impact of LESB
The groundbreaking English Life Essentials Study Bible (LESB) integrates 1,500 life-changing principles with QR-linked video teachings by Dr. Gene Getz. This dynamic resource serves as the foundation for all LESB projects and has reached pastors and leaders worldwide, including in the Philippines, India, and Africa. For many, it’s described as a “seminary in a box,” equipping leaders to teach others and build thriving ministries.
Biblia QR adapts the LESB for Spanish-speaking communities, featuring 1,500 QR-coded videos fully lip-synced in Spanish. This project has already distributed thousands of Bibles in Latin America like Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Ecuador. With a goal to provide 50,000 Bibles to leaders in need, it is empowering pastors and churches across the region with accessible, high-quality resources.
The LESB began as a groundbreaking English resource and has since expanded its impact globally. With translations like the Vietnamese edition, the LESB is equipping pastors and leaders with innovative tools to deepen faith and teach God’s Word. Our focus is on the Vietnamese LESB, bringing this transformative resource to communities across Vietnam and beyond.
